Mediterranean Networking: step one Lampedusa

Since last June 15 it is active the project of the Italian network Anna Lindh that promotes joint actions to strengthen the dialogue between cultures in the Mediterranean. The focus of the project is the island of Lampedusa, which is, because of its geographical location, a bridge between Europe and Africa. the island has become in recent years the "gate of life", as it is defined by the migrants who find landfall here, especially those seeking protection and a better future. Lampedusa is a door open or closed which can represent life or death depending on the choices that governments and states make and will make. But Lampedusa is also a place of intersection of stories and people: its beautiful coastlines, the crystal clear waters, natural parks and centuries of culture make it one of the most interesting places in the Mediterranean.
The leader is the national Arci.

Teatro in Rivolta; University of Torino- sceince education; Rosselli Foundation), Lombardy (Amazelab), Veneto (FISPMED Onlus).
