Sponsorship

The Sponsorship is an act of solidarity that is moral effort to send, through representatives responsible,  a stable and continuous economic contribution - the donor receives acknowledgement on how money is used - aimed at children, adults, families, communities clearly identified,  in conditions of necessity and in every part of the world, to provide the opportunity to improve their living conditions in the social and cultural environment in which they live. (Charter of Principles of the Sponsorship).
For MAIS sponsorship  is a complementary action to broader actions.
MAIS  supports projects in favour of communities in order  to avoid any kind of discrimination among the beneficiaries of the projects ; money is not intended for a single child or woman, but to the community that hosts them, so that everyone can benefit from the donation received.
For this reason there are no pre-defined figures even if it is required that, at the time of taking charge of sponsorship, you decide the  amount you want to pay annually and the instalments.  We allow and desire sponsorships carried out by groups (co-workers, friends, family).
Supporters are invited to visit the community supported financially and, through group or individual meetings, to follow the development of the project but also the economic and political situation of the country in which the support is active.
MAIS does not withhold that bank transfer fees, no other administrative expenditures.
The subscribers of sponsorship  shall receive the MAIS newsletter monthly.
